沈彩万，男，1969年出生，理学博士，教授，硕士生导师。浙江省教坛新秀，浙江省高校中青年学科带头人，浙江省“十三五”一流专业物理学的负责人。2001.12-2003.12在意大利做博士后研究，先后在日本理化学研究所、京都大学、大阪大学以及法国GANIL实验室做访问学者。
从事原子核结构、核物质性质、低能重离子反应、超重核合成等方面的理论研究工作，先后主持国家自然科学基金项目5项、浙江省自然科学基金项目1项，在Phys. Rev. C, Eur. J. Phys. A等期刊发表论文80余篇。
承担《理论力学》《力学》《电磁学》等课程的教学工作，主持省一流课程1门、省精品在线开放课程1门，获浙江省高校教学成果二等奖1项，校教学成果一等奖2项。
